HEAD START CHESS

Advancing in Chess U500 – Now we’re playing! Lessons run all week, but you can join for just a day!

Next level “stuff” for those who are familiar with piece movement. Here we begin to discuss opening principles, tactical thinking, strategies to win, and defense, and we even get them competing in USCF online matches! An hour or 2, even a full day of interactive, online coaching and play with our best teachers. (though we schedule breaks for kids to run around after each session, and lunch breaks the day in half) Come online…let’s learn & play!

Two levels of an even more competitive & sporting environment for Chess players promises to be life-changing for those committed to play. This is a more “serious group” for those looking to compete. Taught by Chess NYC, World Class Coaches, National Champions, Masters & Candidate Masters these online classes will focus on mastering openings, dominating in the endgame, the ultimate defense, a review of the greatest games, and USCF online matches. Those who complete TAG I will be sent off to TAG II.

WORLD CLASS TRAINING™

  • Location: The famous IS 318 Competitive training for the USA’s top Chess Prospects. Led by World Famous Guest GM Marian Petrov. His First Time in the U.S. Our World Class Training Camp will push participants to the next level. Sessions will focus on competitive diabolical Chess with outside-the-box training that will surely keep participants wanting more.
